AIDS EDUCATION

Supports large scale national program-should be nonjudgmental and frank. Believes programs should begin when children are able to understand.

Proposes program to speed licensing of AIDS drugs. Unknown stand on PWA discrimination.

Massachusetts spends more per AIDS case than any other state.

Proposes legislation banning all discrimination against people with AIDS.

GAY AND LESBIAN LEGAL AND CIVIL RIGHTS PROTECTION

Does not support gay and lesbian civil rights. Classifies gay civil rights as special rights.

Strongly supported statewide Gay Civil Rights billsupports national bill. Has not issued Governor's order banning sexual orientation discrimination-sees civil rights bill as more effective.

Supports Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights bill and would sign executive order outlawing discrimination against lesbians, gays in government, military and security agencies. Keynote speaker, National March on Washington.

FAMILY RELATED ISSUES
